DIY Chia Seeds Face Mask For Glass Skin

Ingredients:

Chia Seeds: 1 tablespoon -Water or Aloe Vera Gel: 2-3 tablespoons -Honey (optional): 1 teaspoon (for added moisturization) - Lemon Juice (optional): 1 teaspoon (for brightening, but avoid if you have sensitive skin)

1. Mix the Chia Seeds

In a small bowl, combine the chia seeds and water or aloe vera gel. Mix well and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes. This will allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and create a gel-like consistency.

2. Add Optional Ingredients

If you're using honey for added moisture or lemon juice for brightening, add them to the chia seed mixture and stir well.

3. Patch Test

Before applying the mask to your face, do a patch test on a small area of your skin, such as the inside of your wrist, to check for any adverse reactions.

4. Application

Gently cleanse your face and pat it dry. Using clean fingers or a brush, apply the chia seed mask evenly to your face, avoiding the eye and mouth areas.

5. Relax

Allow the mask to sit on your face for about 15-20 minutes. During this time, the chia seeds will continue to absorb moisture and create a soothing, hydrating effect.

6. Rinse Off

After the recommended time has passed, gently massage your face with lukewarm water to loosen the mask. Then, rinse it off thoroughly. You can use a soft cloth or your hands to help remove the mask.

7. Moisturize

After rinsing off the mask, apply your favourite moisturizer to lock in hydration.
